Very pleasant story and good writting

Quite an original twist on Austen 's classic, it's a true journey of self discovery. A very nice read indeed

A light, sweet story that crosses P&P with Groundhog's Day. It's a fairly short novel so I felt like more could have been done with Darcy being forced to relive the same day over and over again, but it was enjoyable. If you're even remotely inclined towards tears, I would wait until you are alone before reading the epilogue.

All seems to go well for Darcy until that proposal, eager to leave the next day he finds that inexplicably he was woken to the same day. How long will this keep happening and what is the purpose of him re-living the day over and over again.
Loved this, it was so easy to read and the story just flowed. (Loved the film Groundhog's Day which might have helped in loving the book)

Ideal for [b:Pride and Prejudice|1885|Pride and Prejudice|Jane Austen|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1320399351s/1885.jpg|3060926] fans. In this retelling of Pride and Prejudice Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet and she refuses. What?! Yes, you read right. But that's not all. Thank you Netgalley and Beau North for the ARC! Full review on my blog.

Very Darcy-focused with a very good and interesting characterization. I liked the writing style quite a lot and would definitely look into more from these authors. I did, however, feel that the time loop didn’t get as much attention as it should have for being the major plot. Though I suppose it is more of a “how are things are different after Darcy has experienced a time loop” plot more than a “Darcy is caught in a time loop” plot. And in that case the quarter-ish of the book showing the time loop happenings would fit.

Oh man, I adored this book. It was unusual not having Elizabeth's POV, but I found that I really didn't mind. I loved how Darcy did everything from
try to escape his torment by going to London, to playing pranks on his relatives, to seeking advice, to even potentially dying.
It was such an effective way to give him time to learn his lessons without actually needing time to pass in the rest of the world; however, I did appreciate that the ending came
several weeks after he'd broken himself out of the loop, because that meant that Elizabeth had time to catch up.
Everything was very well done, and my only complaints were: a) I stayed up way later than I should have reading, and b) I don't have any more of it to read today.

I would like to thank netgalley and the publishers for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

It's an interesting concept and I find it really engaging to see the world from Darcy's pov. I love the way that the characters are portrayed and how cannon they are. The storyline allows Darcy to develop and for us to see a new side to him. It dragged a little in the middle, but otherwise rolls nicely.
