adventurous funny informative inspiring lighthearted reflective relaxing fast-paced
This is a quick and entertaining read about European folklore, especially British (the author is from England). I especially like the chapter on mari lywds (my city has a troupe of Morris dancers, and one of them is a close friend of mine--I've seen mari lywds in person), the chapter on witches, and the Stonehenge chapter. The author respects us Pagans. And thank you, Sarah Clegg, for debunking certain beliefs about murderous ancient Pagans/Druids!
