Aw. Two and a half stars. I really wanted to like this. It seemed like my kind of story. And there was a story in there that was enjoyable, but it was buried under so much extra stuff that I had to hunt for it. There are just too many characters and too much going on for this to be enjoyable. It meanders and swerves and gets lost and won't stop to ask for directions.
