There were many elements of the book which on their own I should have enjoyed, however overall it just didn’t really connect to me.

I know that a lot of people found this book meandering and slow with too much focus on the day to day lives of the people in the store but I found that I liked the story more for it. I’d like to get to know more about some of the characters and I hope others pop back up in future books. 

I’ll pick up the next book when I’m in the mood from another country village life murder mystery.

This wasn’t what I was expecting unfortunately! Very slow and meandering. Plus the reveal didn’t really make much sense to me so wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped. Could maybe be convinced to read on in the series if it gets better?
