This was a good read, I still liked Legends & Lattes more, but _Bookshops & Bonedust_ definitely sits on the cozy end of the spectrum and offers some great characters. Fern, Satchel, Potroast, and Gallina were all memorable, and the romance worked fine for me. The necromancer plot was enjoyable, though I could have done without the big ending battle sequence. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and knowing that Book 3 will follow Fern is very exciting!

Another one! So cozy and fun. I adore these books so much. I could live in this world forever. Bookshops & Bonedust was the epitome of a cozy fantasy. It had just the right amount of action moments, yet at its core, it felt so warm and comforting.

I loved getting to read a little backstory for Viv, as well as an introduction to book two. I also enjoyed all of the new characters in this one. Fern? I adore her! As soon as her character was introduced, I knew I was going to love her. As the story went along, I only grew to love her even more.

Potroast was such a cutie, oh my goodness. I loved him so much, and I just wanted to give him a pet and all the pastries.

Gallina, Satchel, and Maylee were also favorite characters. Basically, I loved everyone. But how could I not?? They shined as individuals, yet formed the perfect group as well.

I can’t wait to read Breadknives & Brigands!
