This was a great follow up to Legends & Lattes. Again, it was cozy and not super high stakes. But there was plenty of character development and world building to keep you engaged (but not overwhelmed). Murk seemed like a cozy little seaside town, and I wish it was real so I could experience it. The side characters were great. I loved Fern and her foul mouth and her love of sharing books. It was nice to see a small snippet of Viv’s life before the time in Legends & Lattes. I’m interested to read the next book in this series.
