Tricia (Kareema’s BFF) and Jah (Set’s youngest brother) secretly started sleeping together after she discovered her long-term boyfriend (Saul) cheated for the umpteenth time. Seeing the love that Kareema and Set share, makes her yearn for the same. Jah’s tired of being her thoughtful side piece and is ready to let her know that she already fucked her way into a real reciprocated love. This was spicy but heavier on the romance and character depth than Set’s story. This was a wonderful follow-up.

Jah is the youngest Mitchell brother and it's obvious, lol. He's a hothead trying his best to stop solving problems with his fists. I admired his restraint. Tricia is a woman finally falling out of love with a man who pretended to love her for seven years. She gives into her instant connection with Jah and starts on a journey that she couldn't stop if she tried. It was very intense. I loved that. All the moments are fraught with emotion and this "we can't help ourselves," kind of feeling that the dramatic romantic in me just loves.
Jah Mitchell definitely shares that protective gene with his big brother and I love that too. Tricia's situation was very messy and the plot twist--that gave me much needed drama. I feel like Jah and Tricia are two fire signs for sure, lol. I loved it so much.
