So good, just read the entire 300 pages in one sitting and I’ve never done that with a book! Suuuch a great read. Absolutely amazing artwork as well.

Wow... the action really picked up on this one - faster than Volume 1.

What an explosive read. This was 300 pages of nonstop action and intrigue. Lot's of suspense and excitement as those delicious little tidbits of information get fed to you about what is going on. So many answers and so many more questions.....

Chaos, constant fighting with no real stakes, and all of the stereotypical manga elements. More action-packed than the first volume at the expense of some story. There is plenty of exposition in this volume, but there is also an excess of fighting and explosions with a conspicuous lack of casualties.

I didn't dislike it, but I'm hoping that future volumes return to the slightly more cerebral experience of the first book in the series.

Otomo nails kineticism. If there’s anything I like less about volume 2, it’s that we get less of the gangs, school, and other teen stuff that was in volume 1. The elevator shit was rad. Kaneda’s obsession with Tetsuo reminds me a little of Stokoe’s Half Century War.
