A very fun and enjoyable read, rock music or music with rocks has reached the diwcworld and our bard Imp seems a bit Elfish as he sways his hips and plays the music that captures everyone's attention.

Full of lots of humour and play on words, giggled many a time at things like a deaf leopard.

I really loved the characters again especially Death and his colleague the Death of Rats, he was my favourite by far. Such a cute little thing.

The next one up is Hogfather and I'm very much looking forward to reading that one.

This one was a bit of a disappointment. The characters were a bit empty and the plot was a mess. It seemed to be stitched together from previous books containing a magical device that controls a young boy (like in Men At Arms), Death abandoning his job (like in Mort and Reaper Man) a new person taking over and complaining about the unfairness of it all (Mort).

The plot was poor, very predictable and with an ending that didn't really make sense. The problems seemed somewhat contrived and created just to give the characters something to do.

Worst of it, it wasn't that funny. There were a few jokes but the main jokes about rock music were too forced and unsubtle. Pratchett came across as something of a grouchy old man.

Meet Susan when Death joins the Foreign Legion. Albert is down to seconds.

Pratchett's writing, especially about Death, is always comforting in a strange way. I love this series and can't wait to continue. Some could claim that it feels a little repetitive, Death is gone again, but it's still phenomenal. I had such a cozy good time.
