Another zany adventure in Boohail. It was fun to see the demon ship again, and Felix and Brie were both great. There were several mentions of Brie not feeling worthy, and while it wasn’t dug into much in such a short book I’ll give it a pass. Also, tentacles!
The ghouls were a surprising level of horror, but turning a love spell against it and Chad was a great moment.
Seeing Alexis the sword again was great, and the way Brie escaped the Thing by giving detailed descriptions of her romance book plots and omega verse was hilarious. i lowered the star rating because I just wish at a time like this the motivating factorfor the cult wasn’t to make women only wives and mothers as their “rightful place” while men rule .
