I stopped reading one of my current reads to pick this up because I had the strongest craving for Kimberly Lemming and I NEEDED to read this book.

The craving is satisfied and I was reminded, not that I forgot but still, how much I love this author, their writing style, this world, and these characters. It is SO MUCH FUN. I freaking loved it and I  am absolutely going to pick up the last couple books soon because a new one is coming out soon.

The best magical, hilarious, sexy, quick, easy read. I bow down to the Queen that is Kimberly.

I was surprisingly disappointed by this one! “That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon” was one of my favorite monster romances of last year so I was shocked that this one didn’t do it for me.

The premise was cute but I thought the plot was lacking in a lot of ways.
Like I’m very confused about the talking sword. She comes out of nowhere with no backstory or explanation, then gains the ability to wield herself out of nowhere somehow, saves the day, then just gets treated very flippantly at the end, like “Oh yeah and she’s still around I guess. Still floatin’ around somewhere.”

And I’m sorry, the villain is defeated (although I’m still fuzzy on how the jellyfish monster in the lake is defeated) because Brie grosses it out with descriptions of the omegaverse? That is just… I’m sorry, that’s really bad.

This was a cute fluff piece to read between larger fantasies.

Brie and Felix are super cute.  I love how obsessed Felix is with Brie - never once doubting that she’s his mate.

While investigating a growing list of missing women, Brie and Felix also work to reverse the love potion.  We get to see whether his feelings were solely due to the love potion, or if they are truly mates.

This is a fast-paced adventure that will give you a good laugh.

Brie and Felix’s story. Really enjoyed seeing humans and demons learn to cohabitate.

I had just as much fun reading this second book as I did the first! And DEMON WEREWOLF, there's some spicy sex scenes in this book. 😈 I do love an adventurous romance with lewd scenes!!

Our kick ass heroine is none other than Brie, Cinnamon's best friend, both of whom we met in the first book. I loved the whole premise of Brie trying to protect the big bad werewolf Felix's virtue after accidentally yeeting the love potion at him - a bit of fun role switching.

I know it throws a lot of people off to have 'mideaeval' people speaking more modern language, but I think it's fun and these books absolutely make me laugh out loud.

I can't wait for more books in the series to come out so we can watch more demons fall in love with women strong enough to tame their wild sides.
