I honestly have no idea what to think of this book.

although I read it very quickly and it definitely was an interesting and different read for me, it felt a bit flat. besides the main character (I'm only counting one twin because the other is barely there), there's no depth to the characters and the plot was too fast. I'm also not sure what I thought about the format because I know absolutely nothing of poetry, less about free verse, but I think it only perpetuated the problems I had with this book.

i wanted to love this book so bad but i didn’t like it as much as i expected. the story has a really powerful meaning, and the book is great, but the writing style really put me off and i didn’t enjoy reading it that much
