I think that death at the end was rushed but it was still shocking.

I was not at all prepared to feel as much as I did while reading this book. Truth be told, I almost stopped reading halfway through after putting it down for a few days too long. However I was determined to give it another chance and was immediately glad I did. I was not expecting that plot twist at the end of the book though and I cried more than I expected to during this book. Why did nobody tell me?

It's cute and light-hearted but the main character is very vapid. Most of the novel is fluff and only in the last 15% does any action develop towards a plot. It's otherwise basically teen light romance. Enjoyable but not deep.
