Grey and Ben and Jagger…

Somehow I don’t know how I feel. I wanted to love it but I am not sure how I feel.

I kind of feel like Molly just wants the shock factor. But and I like drama as much as the next person but I kind of felt like this was immature drama.

I didn’t hate it because I listened to the end and I am in the I liked it category but I didn’t love it and maybe that’s ok.

I loved the narration; it was perfect for the book.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

This book had me constantly leaving status updates on Goodreads as I read it. I loved Jagger and Grey, but I did NOT like Jagger’s sister Charlie. There were also so many times that I wanted to cry in this. While there was the one aspect that is always in stories that annoys me, even though I know, I know, it’s part of what helps with the dram and suspense. I hate how people don’t tell the important person whatever some secret is that will upset them, because really it’s a pretty stupid reason why they don’t. And if they would just do it right away, they wouldn’t probably have some of the problems. But as I said, drama. A great book otherwise!

This is the first book that I've read of Molly McAdams' and it certainly won't be the last. This story is a true testament of love lost and then finding new love in the most unexpected of places.

We first meet Grey and Ben; two young people so much in love and ready to take the next step and become a family. Unfortunately life happens, and Ben passes away, leaving Grey all by herself. Her entire life is turned upside down as she tries to live on without the love of Ben. I cried at times because I felt her despair. The writing is so on point that the reader gets to experience the true feeling of this character's heartache and pain.

Then steps in Jagger, Grey's lifelong best friend. He's secretly been in love with her all this time and will do anything and everything to keep her happy. Grey is given another chance at love but she doesn't want to betray Ben. Jagger and Grey's love story has so many ups and downs, twists and turns; I was completely captivated by it all.

The author did such a great job with the storyline. Nothing was too rushed and it all felt real. Sometimes, stories like this can feel too unbelievable; but not this one. I found myself rooting for Jagger; hoping that he can break down Grey's walls. Jagger is oh so sweet and sexy. The ladies will fall for him and he has easily become a new book boyfriend for me.

Overall, this was phenomenal story written by a talented storyteller. I highly recommend this and will definitely read the next book in the series.

This is my least favorite of Molly's books to date. I don't have one specific thing that made my mind up, it just wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed Jagger and Grey's story, but it just didn't feel like a Molly book. I love to hate Molly, and I didn't feel any hate toward her this time.

I absolutely love Molly McAdams books and this one was no different even though I figured it all out early on. I can't wait for more books by MA.

Grey and Ben started dating at age 13 and were together until a car accident 3 days before their wedding shattered their fairytale. Ben’s brother Jagger was Grey’s shoulder as both families were devastated by the loss of their collective dream.

Now as young adults about to graduate from college, Grey and Jagger have reached a point where they have realized their friendship has blossomed into more. But can they pursue these feelings? Is it a betrayal to Ben’s memory?

This one was predictable but I still liked it. Obviously spending so much time together and getting through hard times would forge a bond between young people, so I wasn’t surprised at Jagger’s feelings. What I did find annoying is Grey’s wallowing in her grief because it seemed the pain was more for the “dream” than the actual relationship she had with Ben.

I didn’t like the twist at the end of the story because I felt like the author was trying to really bolster Grey and Ben as a couple. But if you like Molly McAdams stories, this is the same kind of formula.

I just adore Molly McAdams! I love her books and her writing. This is one of her books, that I have read, that wasn't as heart wrenching because you knew of Ben's death beforehand. I know most people don't like books that are 'real', books that don't put you in a different reality and that is Molly McAdams books. They are real and the characters are broken and flawed. I love it. Grey thought her life was over when her soon to be husband in 2 days, dies. Jagger, Grey and Ben's best friend, was there to help her every day for 2 years after his death. She got better and he was there. They have people in their life that want to destroy their relationship and they learn of new secrets involving Ben. If you think they went through enough you are so wrong. Very emotional and amazing book.

I have been a fan of Molly for years. Letting Go didn't disappoint me at all! It had just the right amount of emotions and for a semi love triangle you really love both men in Grey's life. Sometimes authors don't express the full emotions or the steps of grief. Well Molly nailed it!
