I'm so obsessed with the Varsity Dads Series! College football players being daddies are absolutely irresistible! Blindside Beauty was another little gem!

Nick was such a devoted dad. The way he loved his daugther, Hazel, was heartwarming. He cared for her deeply and only wanted for her to feel safe and loved. This daddy-daughter duo was the sweetest. This hero was swoony and such a great guy in general. So not the player a star quarterback would seem to be at first. The guy was so focused on football and a relationship was the last thing he wanted, but here came Abby!

I really liked this girl! She was on the shy side, but driven by her goals. After the way her last relationship ended, she wasn't looking to start a new one either, but her attraction to Nick was just something too special to deny. I also loved the bond Abby instantly developed with little Hazel. That cutie was adorable that's for sure.

I loved the dynamic between Abby and Nick. These two were so different, but shared such an undeniable chemistry. I enjoyed every single one of their interactions. The slow build of their romance was truly beautiful and started more as a friendship when Abby became a nanny for Hazel. But it soon turned explosive with some spicy encounters.

The supporting characters also brought a depth to the story and made this read even more captivating.

Blindside Beauty was such a stunning conclusion to an already addictive series! It's truly a bittersweet feeling to let go of this world, but I'm really intrigued about Lex Martin's upcoming series, Wild at Heart, which will be related to this one!

Filled with heat and heart, a sprinkle of tension and angst, and some swoon worthy moments, this story doesn’t attack from your blindside, it’s a straight drive to the end zone.

Abagail and Nick. Bookworm and quarterback. And the cutest couple you’ll want to root for at Lone Star State. Don’t let the cuteness fool you, sparks fly and the cute becomes spicy when doors close. Supported by a fantastic cast of characters and the cutest of 4 year olds, Nick and Abby will have to navigate their pasts and a few bumps on the road to their HEA.

If you love close proximity enemies to lovers, boss/nanny relationships, grumpy single dads, adorkable bookworms, and a college football romance, you’ll love Blindside Beauty.

What a fantastic end to a phenomenal series! Nick and Abby wrapped up the Varsity Dads series with the perfect amount of angst, chemistry, football, and the sweetest adorable four year old perfectly.

Have you ever met a person who has changed your life? I'm not talking a big, wowza, kind of moment, but someone who over time, makes you feel better, be better, and just all around become a better person because that person is in your life. This is the story behind Blindside Beauty. It's all the little moments added up together that make Nick and Abby's relationship grow and blossom. It's sweet, it's steamy and just plain wonderful.

Nick is stuck in a bubble, living a careful existence due to an awful tragedy that struck his family. Upon meeting Abigail, an accident-prone woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, Nick’s world begins to change. In the beginning he doesn't see that it's for the best, but as he gets to know Abby he sees the wonderful person behind the outside mess she can portray. Nick's whole world is his daughter and football and Abigail is the perfect person to push Nick outside of his safety zone.

Abby, who is just about the sweetest person around, was hurt when her long time boyfriend cheated on her and broke her trust. Now, she lives with this constant fear of people abusing that fragile trust. So, even as much as she'd like to open up to Nick, who has been gracious enough to help her out, she isn't sure about trusting him with her heart. Nick proves multiple times that he's a great guy and he's amazing with Hazel, his daughter, but is that enough to say he's different from Abby's ex when it comes to relationships.

This book is swoony, and spicy, and so sweet with all the lovely Hazel time. Nick is really the best dad and I love how these two slowly, but eventually find their happily ever after.

Early educational college senior Abby has had it up to here with cheating elite football players, having been badly burned by a crummy ex who cheated on her repeatedly. She’s barely scraping by with her waitressing job, so she’s excited to interview for a nanny position, even if it is with a gorgeous QB who replaced her ex. Things are looking up until she accidentally backs into his Subaru trying to get away from her ex.

Desperate to sign as a pro by the end of football season, single father Nick has every reason to prove himself on and off the field. When he moves into an off campus rental in a safer neighborhood with his daughter, he’s nonplussed to find the nanny candidate who trashed his bumper. A few weeks later he finds himself racing home after finding out that the cold, harsh nanny he ended up hiring locked herself out of the house with dinner burning on the stove. Just as he gets to his house, he spies Abby launching herself through a second story window to save his daughter from harm. He immediately replaces her with Abby, who instantly gels with his daughter.

Abby is seriously attracted to Nick but can’t bring herself to trust another football player. Add in the fact that she’s now employed by him and she’s leaving for a planned trip to England in less than three months, and it’s a terrible idea to get involved, right?

But to paraphrase the Bard the course of true love never did go smoothly, and this one’s a doozy: so many misunderstandings, presumptive thinking, plus a whole host of disasters and poor communication occur. Also, there’s some intense cattiness toward Abby by - shocker! - cheerleaders! There’s a makeover/Abby doesn’t know what a gorgeous creature she actually is because of course she doesn’t [eyeroll]. And let’s not forget that least favorite trope of mine which shall not be named…. I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series, but it works just fine as a standalone. All in all it’s a 3.25 star rating for me.

I received an advance reader copy from Grey’s Promotions and bookfunnel, and I’m sharing my honest thoughts.
