A well written, twisty, funny little mystery. I love the focus on female friendships and women helping women vibes. I'll definitely be finishing the series.

What an absolute delight! The perfect thriller/comedy that kept me up late at night far too many times. I loved the dynamic duo of Finlay and Vero, and found myself rooting for them through all their mistakes and mishaps. I lost count of how many time I would say, “wait, no, don’t do that!” They really end up complimenting each other in so many ways. This one kept me guessing all the way until the end.

mystery/thrillers are not normally my preferred genre, but after being personally recommended this book by someone with taste that i really trust, i decided to take it for a swing… and i really enjoyed myself!!

i don’t think i was in love with it like some people seem to be, but it is a really fun story with lots of silly twists and turns. just when you think it can’t get anymore wacky, somehow it does! i think what made me like this so much was that the book didn’t take itself too seriously. it’s super funny and i feel like it kind of makes fun of both itself and the genre.

finlay is a character you can’t help but root for even when she gets herself into crazy, and frankly stupid situations.

the jury is still out on whether i’ll continue the series, but i know if i do that i’m in for a wild ride!

Actually loved it. I didn’t expect it to take the turn it did but it was a pleasant surprise. Had ALOT of anxiety though.
