This is the queer, intersectional YA fiction that I wish I'd had growing up. The character are all so well rounded, and it addresses really important issues like racism in the LGBT community, gay vs queer, choosign your identity, intersectional feminism, classism, etc. all through the eyes of a completely believable, lovable and cool narrator. Lillian Claire does a superb job at narrating.

I wasn't sure about the pacing and structure of this book, but it all came together so beautifully by the end that every decision felt purposeful. Incredibly impressed.
