The author touches upon contemporary topics related to geopolitics and technology. A lot of effort seems to have been made into the research.
This is clearly a story told from the perspective of someone oriented to the western ideologies. But that does not mean the author missed on covering minority cultures and religion.
It was bold to call out politicians and parties by their name. But a shift to the right is currently/ clearly underway-whether this was AI’s doing or an unavoidable part of the storyline is difficult to fathom. Rather than reason out why it is happening, the book seems to dwell more on the fear factor.
I find it impudent to generalize and say that, certain political affiliations would always sway towards wickedness. I hope next gen leaders who are clever enough to adapt technological advances to sway the political spectrum, are equally smart enough to comprehend when to stop bending the bough too much before we hit a point of no return.
