I found this book a little slow to start and hard to get into, but once the author provides more info about Veronica’s background, the book starts to pick up.

A story about an eccentric older lady in her 80s, named Veronica her grandson, Patrick. Both are the protagonists, and we get their POV'S. Multiple media through blogs and the journal that helps tell Veronica's past. I loved the penguin and the information about the penguins. I thought it was sad but also heartwarming with a little bit of roughness from Veronica. It touches on climate change also.
