MMF Romance
Attempted Murder
Attempted Kidnapping

Meg Sanders thought she only had one night with Galen and Theo and had come to accept that (especially after finding out that Theo is the exiled Crown Prince of Thalania- that is some mess she does not need to step into). Fate apparently has a different idea and throws these three back together and into some insane situations (I mean attempted murder and attempted kidnapping- how could it not be insane with those happening in the background!).

This story picks up three months after their shared night in Theirs for the Night. Meg is still struggling to finish her accounting masters while Galen and Theo are hard at work attempting to bring him out of exile. Theo can’t stay away from Meg which leads to massive amounts of danger for our three main characters. Despite all of the danger that is lurking around the corner for these three, the chemistry is still electric and questions of whether this could continue after Theo is restored to his rightful place in Thalania begin to emerge.

I loved that we got more character development in this story. Each of these characters has their own demons in their closets and we really got to see just how bad things truly can be (especially with Meg- I did not anticipate her demons coming to light in their entirety so I loved that). I also loved that despite the danger, none of the characters lost their spunk (at least not in the very few situations where they were safe), and that the spicy scenes were just as spicy, if not even spicier (excuse me Galen and Theo, I’m going to need more and for you to calm down all at the same time please)

I’m loving this series and I’m also loving seeing how much Katee’s writing has progressed since this series

This may have not been the authors fault but this is not the first book, as shown on Amazon. There is a prequel/novella that needed to be read. When I first started reading this book, I just felt thrown into the middle of a story. The book was okay. Yes, dramatic things happened but I don’t think the author took the time to build the story out, including the chemistry between the main characters. Like I read nothing to make me understand why the MMC would come back for the FMC, pay her bills or feel responsible for her. We were just told.

A few grammatical errors. Also, some trivial things don’t make sense. Do these guys have accents? Obviously they speak English but I wouldn’t think they would speak like Americans. In the book it says they only fit because of sex and nothing else.

I think it’s the first time Katee Robert doesn’t live up to expectations.

Don’t get me wrong, if you’re looking for a steamy MMF, this book is perfect. But personally, the emotional aspect felt quite compromised.

The two men had been involved together their whole lives and pretty much in love, but they referred to each other as best friends and even stated they’ve dated other people “but always came back to each other”, which has some weird implications.

In the end, some word choices made it sound like the MM relationship wasn’t a real one and they just had sex because “it’s hot” and that didn’t sit well with me.
