It was REALLY spicy and kinky. The steam and tension ... BIG ooof....
It took me soooo... long to complete tho.

AND... if anyone asks, then the book was about cinderella, love-triangle with the prince & his gaurd and a LOT of POLITICS!!

I liked the poly relationship as I feel like that’s very rare to come across in romance, especially when there two men and one woman. I feel like most romance books prefer a Why Choose dynamic, but I’ve always preferred a poly one. Will definitely continue reading. 

I would also like to appreciate this author for not taking the easy route and making this a toxic, dark romance like everything seems to be. This has definitely made me interested in reading their other works.

2.5 ⭐️ rounded down. This book walked so Court of the Vampire Queen could run. While it had some good elements, it was also pretty riddled with grammatical errors, typos, and pacing issues. There was also the instalove Katee is so known for, and it was even more unbelievable than normal. I will keep reading the series because I already own it, but I recommend some of her other series over this one.

Yes. The smut, the romance, the modern monarchy drama, yes to all of it. A throuple (two guys, one girl) so if you’re not into that definitely avoid this one.
