I've only just started reading romance novels and this one was a bit of a miss for me. I'm realizing that I'm not much of a fan of the slow burn and the abusive prior relationship was really rough for me to read through. Enter at your own risk.

I absolutely loved this story! I kind of figured based on the description that it would have some action but the suspense had me on edge, I loved it. The topic covered in this book is not the first time, but sometimes authors take it over the top. Ms. Saman kept the story real, so true to life. This story not only had some suspenseful elements it also had a lot of emotions. I love when authors can pack on all the feels and take you on a emotional roller coaster. ABSOLUTELY a must read!

Boring, so boring I skimmed the entire book. Even the sex was boring. I gave it more than one star because it was well written, for the most part.

Very interesting start of this series. Suspense, intrigue, mystery all paved the way for an intense story. I struggled a bit with some of the plausibility of the story (sleeping outside? Vegas is my favorite city, not sure I could see that happening or someone allowing it to happen) but the story still kept me interested. Looking forward to Maddox and Gavin's stories.

This book was so amazing. When I started reading it pulled me in and didn't let go until I finished oohhheeemmmgeee so good just so good. This is my first book by a new arthur for me and I can say this book won't be my last by her cheese and crackers get this book run don't walk and one click this lil jewel. This book had me laughing & wiping a tear so get tissues, but mostly there's a girl (Mia) whose running trusting no one, but she happens to find someone a dark knight whom she can trust (Jake). That's all I'm saying but you will fall in love with Jake and his big heart. I definitely would recommend getting this book it's so freaking worth the read.

What a sweet and refreshing tale about love at first sight. Mia/Fiona is running from an abusive relationship and is rescued by a white knight.
This story was well written and I loved all of these characters. I hope there is more about Maddox in the future.
