Cuando leí la sinopsis de este libro escrito por mi querido Stephen King, tenía muchas expectativas. Y es que pese a que suene un poco morboso, tenía mucha curiosidad de entrar en la cabeza de un chico que arma un tiroteo en su escuela. Sin embargo, siento que lo que King quería expresar a través de este libro simplemente no me llegó, no pude saber qué era y hasta cierto punto no puedo decir que me interesó. Tampoco fui capaz de simpatizar con ninguno de los personajes y leyendo llegué a pensar "todos están locos, por eso no los entiendo". Y quiero aclarar, el tipo de personaje loco que casi raya en lo ridículo.
Es una lectura muy rápida, en solo una noche había terminado pero aún así mi experiencia con Rabia fue un poco decepcionante...

This is a book with a troubled history - it’s been blamed for multiple school shootings in America, and King himself requested it be taken out of publication. Do I think it deserves that blame? Not at all. I didn’t think that before I read it, and I certainly don’t now that I have. Charlie Decker leads his classmates and the reader through his storied but short life, bringing out the same rage he holds in his cohort. A standard King short story, I enjoyed it but probably won’t pick it up again on its own, but possibly as part of the collection it’s in.
