1⭐ I felt as if there was a constant push and pull to who was the alpha and who was the beta in this relationship. Tess's running was extremely annoying and tbh it felt like she was lowkey fliting with Llmari; yes i get she was trying to be his friend but the way it was written felt like Tess either wanted Llmari to herself or she wanted in on his and Rachel's relationship. Specifically didn't like when Tess barged into Rachel and the guys house early af and ignored all hints and boundaries that she wasn't welcome in their bedroom (sure I'm all for needing your friends advice and not being able to wait but like take it to a different room or at least don't get in bed with them all)
Ryan I actually liked but he was a confusing character at times he gave golden retriever vibes and in others he gave Alpha Male vibes and unforchantly instead of it being two different sides of his personality showing it instead felt like two different people. In the end I loved how he was determined to do whatever he could to get Tess to stay.

What confirmed 1 ⭐for me was the nursey scene... WTF i'd never speak to them again

I think I'll be holding off on completing this series for now

I generally enjoy Emily Rath's books. I do think they can get a little syrupy when it comes to the declarations of love but I also appreciate how she gives her characters some depth. Especially given the level of spice in these books.
