Occasionally identified with the FMC, and I appreciated both the age gap romance, and many of the themes. However, neither of the main characters were as compelling as any time the original foursome showed up, primarily Ilmari.
It's also overly long, again. Not sure if I'll read the last one, based on the teased premise.

The loveable nature of Emily Rath's characters makes it easy to immerse yourself in the book. I wanted Tess and Ryan together from the get-go and I loved their chemistry and their steamy scenes which are one of the book's strengths. There are certain faults in Emily Rath's writing like how much of the backstory is just told to us and how someone could have been little more harsh with the editing. But it doesn't take away the fact you can't get enough of her characters.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when it came to this sequel. I loved everything about it though. The flirty banter, her wildness in the bedroom, the whole two to tango vibe. Tess amd Ryan were everything. That epilouge...epic.
