i loved getting to know tess and ryan, i just wish there wasnt so much self pity - also why did the author make it seem like ryan couldnt read when he just had dyslexia ?? i thought we normalized this

Emily Rath has to be one of the most emotionally intelligent authors. I love how she write real life sh*t but in a way that shows so much growth and healthy communication between characters. I love it!
The only reason I knocked off .5 was because the DV was more than I anticipated, but to be fair- there were content warnings. It was also handled very well.
