I trust Emily Rath with my life. These books are so fun and emotional. I love how sweet everyone is and how the characters really find themselves. The only thing is they're a bit long. but even that barely matters. I was never bored.

I was honestly disappointed when I picked up this book that it wasn't going to be a why choose like the first one but im glad I stuck with it.
After a mix up in communication between Rachel and her boys, both Ryan and Tess are given a key to Mars's house. How do they find out? Ryan walks in on Tess, naked. This is the second time they meet with her naked and the tension is strong. Tess is there trying to escape her jealous and abusive husband who is refusing to sign her divorce papers and Ryan has a knee injury that makes his split level rental too hard to navigate.
I think my favourite part of this book was actually the epilogue even though I'm usually not a fan of them, it was so sweet and funny. The book was well narrated throughout and I enjoyed it more than I expected.
I'm really glad that Rachel and her boys had a big part in this book because I really enjoyed their dynamic. Starting the book off with their wedding was perfect!

Tess is fiery and curvy and perfect but this sequel fell short.
I came into this series not really having big expectations. This is not a slight against the author in the least. I'm new to this genre, and growing up a hockey player and mega-fan, I was weary. The author would adequately capture hockey culture or game insight. The first three books (2 novellas and 1st actual book) set the bar insanely high.
Pucking Wild was a tough book for me to get into. The spice level just wasn't there. Not like the previous reads. IYKYK. So I wasn't really loving the first 75% of this one. In the last quarter of this book the author won my 5 star review. I just blew my nose and wiped tears from my eyes. (not in that order lol)
It's been forever since a book moved me to tears! I related to the MC so much by the end and was so excited to see it through.
Another masterpiece from Emily Rath
