Layala has gained so much strength and courage in this book! She was such a better character this book and I loved her!

Thane would do anything to stop his father and protect the ones whom he loves!

The plot had so much twist and turns, the ending a little confusing, and so well done at the same time.

I was excited to get more of the black mages character and motives. I can’t wait to know more about him.

I am disappointed

Making this a love triangle in the later half of the second book is not cool. I read the third book too and I'm not happy with the direction this series went and I am done.

I was NOT expecting the twist at the end. I mean yes, it was foreshadowed that the black mage would look exactly like Thane, but I didn’t expect Layala to be his long lost wife and mate while Thane was the God of War and the black mage’s cousin. What a cliffhanger it left off on. Into the next
