- Picked this one up randomly from the library but unfortunately this was definitely not it for me.
- Too long, I felt like less pages could have explained the plot to the same degree.
- For a dark mystery adventure novel any suspense that was built was shot down almost immediately because, whilst the characters didn't always know something, the reader knows it from a different character. Of course, dramatic irony can be a great literary device, I just don't think it worked here.
- Writing was not great. (eg. "Women must use all their advantages to their advantage.")
- 1.5 because I can't remember my reading experience feeling like a pure 1 star read, however I AM struggling to find even one thing I liked about it.
