“Suicide isn’t the only way you can lose someone to depression.”

i sobbed for a bit bc darius is incredibly relatable in his mental health struggles. and then seeing him navigate his depression alongside his new, in person relationship with his persian family? and how that connects with his fraying immediate family? absolutely perfect.

This book has a very heartfelt story and lovable characters, but some of the storytelling was a bit too young for me (it is a YA book, so I don't blame the author at all). Extremely heartwarming!
