It was intresting...a story of a mole with poo on his head...with a confusing moral....I think if I understood it the moral of this children's book even the second time I read it, I would have liked it better....sometimes the english confuse me..lol

This is my childhood.
A long lost memory of mine.
It may sound stupid to today's standards but not for me and not for my kindergarten reading this to me, because it obviously isn't.
It a masterpiece of childrens book and I do not take any criticism from it.
If any of you didn't grow up with this iconic book.
get well soon.
For everyone who thinks it's stupid, at least I know how animal poop looks like.
Good luck trying to identify in what you stepped it.

Well, I really wanted to read this one because someone recommended it strongly. Unfortunately I couldn't find it in a language I can speak so I had to read it in German and translate the parts I did not understand.
It was a nice one. Though I did not like it as much as they said.

This is the story of a mole who finds some poo on his head and sets out to find whose it is.
This is quite an amusing book. As in all good picture books, the pictures tell an extra story.
The text is quirky
The facial expressions on mole himself and on the other animals he meets are really vivid.

Abjection in kids' literature - interesting but simple, too simple. too obvious.

I am so glad someone suggested I read this book! I heard this has been a bestseller since it was written back in 1993. I like how the Little Mole handled the situation. The illustrations showed so much sass and completely match the story.
