I  really enjoy this author’s style, characters and worlds, I love the added POV. The story itself got  complicated and I had trouble following it all by the end.
I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrators.

This the second book in the duet and it’s the 4 ever Fantasy book I’ve ever read and it was ok I just don’t know if Fantasy books are for me i definitely enjoy this 1 over the first 1 more. I feel like this book was a lot more entertaining it keep me hooked through out the hole book, and it based on ancient Arabia which I feel like is super unique.

We Free the Stars finishes off this duology wonderfully, looping back to mysteries and plot points from the first novel while adding new characters and motivations to expand the story from a mission to retrieve a magic book to stopping the ultimate evil and reinstating magic for all. The villain is terrifying and his actions impact the lives of every character. The climax of this novel felt so heavy, with the heroes at their lowest point, and I was generally scared about how it was going to end. But never fear, because love plays an important role in the story as well. Zafira and Nasir are so precious to me and I greatly enjoyed watching them open up to each other and fall in love. Along with the support of their friends and family, good of course triumphed over evil and the survivors claimed their happily ever afters. I loved this series and can't wait to read more of the author's work <3
