Lovely, lovely ending to the trilogy ... full of surprises and confirmations of suspicions and generally delightful storytelling. I feel fully satisfied ... but there's a part 3.5 and part IV waiting for me anyway!

Still not suitable for children as this book revisits the theme of rape that opened part I.

Cute light reading. I've had enough of the franchise and don't see myself progressing past what already seems to be a rather nice arc.

This has simple become one of my favorite series. I love how the author adds different mythology to the stories. I also love how vivid and real the characters are written. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. I'd recommend this author to fantasy/soft sci-fi enthusiasts.

Wow, that was definitely worth it

I am so glad that I decided to buy the third book in the series. This book is fantastic and makes up for the slowness of the sequel. There are so many great moments in the story; humorous, romantic, thrilling, poignant, and magical. This book has it all.

Lots of fun Nordic mythology in here & ventures into parallels in other religions, but I got tired of the action-movie plotline (when in the present), which appears to go on for several more books.

Great fun!

The play with the mythical creatures and begins is quite well done. Interaction with modern humans (and others) is interesting. Disbelief is easily suspended!
