I think that it is a matter of the very 2010's writing (which I knew was bound to happen when I went into it) but the dialog - between both characters and within their inner monolog - felt very stilted. Almost as if it was trying to hard to be cool? I know that this was fairly common for the time period, but I just couldnt get into it.

I absolutely loved this. I really enjoyed Covenant so decided to move onto this spin-off afterwards and I am SO happy that I did. This book is full of lots of tension, spice and romance! I really loved Alex and Aiden in Covenant and didn’t care for Seth but this book is giving me all the feels for him!

The Return was amazing. Absolutely, brilliantly done amazing. It was more than I ever could have asked or wished for. Not only did I get to step back into a world that felt like home, but I got to be with so many characters that I loved. But somehow, that wasn’t even the best part. Because Seth and Josie made this book. Their interactions of banter, animosity, anger, laughter and sexiness were perfection. I fell hard for them and this story.

A solid Jennifer L. Armentrout novel that I enjoyed for the most part.

It was a good, easy (but not very ingenious) read, and while I'm a *teeny-tiny* bit allergic to instalove, I really liked the tenderness between the MCs. Especially after what went down at the end of the Covenant Series I didn't think Seth had it in him ;)

Suspense-wise I hope the next book in this series will pack a bit more of a punch, though.

Y muchas cosas mas, no sé si seguirla o abandonarla.

Awesome Sauce!

This is a great beginning to a new series. I'm so glad to see that Seth's story continues. Josie is everything I would want in a heroine. She tough but vulnerable.

This story was total awesome sauce. Can't wait to read the next book.
