REREAD:
I love this book so much. This is my favourite series by Tammy.

Found family
YA level romance
Prophesied Queen rising
Gods meddling
Bada$$ FMC

My favourite relationship is the interactions between Aly and Dove, as well as her with Trick. ❤️

Aly’s responses to teasing and compliments are hilarious.

There’s a bit more “white saviour” in this book than the first, but the plot always grips me. And I forgot that there were some deaths at the end I forgot about.

A solid end to the duology, overall an enjoyable read. Definitely continues with the “white savior” vibe, I wish Allie wasn’t the only “smart spy” while everyone else is always wide-eyed and in awe of her. It got old. And the fun little magical guys? I loved them! But why did you have to name them Darkings? Oof.

Just as enjoyable to reread now as when I was twelve!
