It was good, but it started late with the "thriller" part, only from the middle on. The plot twist was - as in In A Dark, Dark Wood - not really surprising, though it was well done. A little better than in In A Dark, Dark Wood. For that, the atmosphere was relatively featureless.

While the book was an easy read and kept my interest, I didn’t feel like the two main characters were best friends at all. There was little to no character development that made their BFF status believable. More than anything, April seemed like a rich bully to Hannah.
