Super cute. I thought that the art style would bother me, but I actually grew to really like it. Since this story is told by Iko, there is some cheesy moments but nothing too annoying. I am very upset that I'll have to wait to continue reading.

The lunar chronicles and the the rampion squad are so special to me and being back in this world feels so nostalgic ❤ I'm totally in love with everything although the art work could've been so much better (sorry that style is not my things) but even that couldn't make me enjoy it less.
I loved the plot and how not everything is just perfect after they defeated Lavana but what I really loved the most is seeing Cress and Thorne being in love and cute (they are my fav ship) and seeing more of Iko is a delight tho she deserves better than the way stupid Earthen treated her

So fun! It was nice to catch up with these characters. I will definitely pick up volume two!
Good not great
Not as great as the original novels, but I still like the story and will read volume 2. It’s just nice to be back in the Lunar Chronicles world again.

I forgot how much I missed these characters and enjoyed this world! I was so grateful for the recap at the beginning but I'm definitely feeling like I need a complete reread of the Lunar Chronicles. I'm ridiculously excited that I finally got to read this graphic novel, though, and I'm even more excited to have the second volume checked out on my Libby app and ready to go!
I enjoyed being back in this world and for that I gave it four stars.
By the end, I was enjoying the story and I would like to read more, but I haaaaate the art in this. It is so sloppy and unpolished! Nobody looks attractive, which kind of works for Cinder, but not for Cress! Aw no way cute little Cress, you look like Roger Klotz from that cartoon “Doug”!! (They all do, pinpoint eyes and all.) And Scarlet has BLACK hair?! Has the author never heard of screentones or shades of grey? (Did she dye her hair and I forgot? If so they should remind us cuz this just looks WRONG.) Also there was literally a frame where a bunch of people were walking down a hallway and they were stick figures with no feet. Now, I love me a toony art style, but give me something like Kate Beaton that has some style to it, and not just lazy and ugly.
I don’t claim I could do better by any means, but it’s a shame when there’s such a rich universe of source material and the art just doesn’t seem to be even trying to do it justice.
