it has a major cress moment. and im a sucker for those two. so yaayyyy 💛💜
3.5
I highly enjoyed the Lunar Chronicles so I had to give this one a try. The graphic novels followed Iko's perspective. It was fun and a quick read. I enjoy revisiting the beloved characters.

This was amazing! Can't wait for the next one, to find out what happens next.
The perfect way to revisit the Lunar Chronicles world, I think.
Iko is a fun character to follow around, and her struggle to be recognized as an independent person by humans is an interesting concept. The loose ends from the first series are being wrapped up here, which I thought was a bit odd, but I think the medium lends itself well to the story.
It's an entertaining read, but I do think the art style could focus more on getting the personality of certain characters across, and it seems that there is a bit of same-face syndrome going on here. I do quite like the designs for the wolf hybrids, not so much Cinder's or Kai's.
