Saved this one for the April readathon and am so glad I did. It was so fun to see the characters from the Lunar Chronicles. Although I wasn't a fan of the art at first, it grew on me and by the end I really enjoyed it. I loved that it focused on Iko as she was one of my favorites. I look forward to reading the next one.
Really did not live up to my expectations after having enjoyed Lunar Chronicles. This felt oddly stale and flat. I figured since Iko was one of my favorite characters that I would enjoy this more than Lunar Chronicles but could bring myself to even really like it. Major disappointment.
I did like the limited use of color. The artwork was fabulous but story was lacking.

This was my first graphic novel, so it was a little different, but I enjoyed it. It was nice seeing every character from TLC. I'm glad Iko is getting her own story. I can't wait for the next one.

A fun way to continue the stories of the characters we love from The Lunar Chronicles.
This was a lovely extension to characters and a world I already loved. And in a format I could read entirely in one evening, which is always a plus.
Fairy tale Princess Stories get Neo-Future Upgrade
This is a companion/ continuation of "The Lunar Chronicles" by Marissa Meyer.
That being said, I did not read any of those books, and had no problem reading this Graphic Novel. There was enough exposition and the characters were well written and drawn so that I understood their backstories and relationships. Pleasing line-work and art style, accompanied by a decent script give these characters life. If you like-re-telling of classic fairy tales, this is for you.

Such a beautiful and exciting addition to the world of the Lunar Chronicles! It was so thrilling to see characters I love so much brought to life in a graphic novel! Starting the next book right away!
