The hunger games meets fae if they were vampires. I was skeptical at first because of the vampires, it’s not my first choice. Not even my fifth. But the world and magic system is so beautifully set up I can hardly complain.
I enjoyed the style of narration as well.Having Vincent in Oraya’s head the whole time we cool.
The plot twists and spins were also captivating.The fact that Oraya spent her whole life with Vincent the King and Vincent the Father, that she was always only loved by half of him. That Raihn always seemed so much the opposite. And then in the end he too becomes two versions: one who loves her and one who is threatened by her. Pain and agony bro.
I enjoyed the style of narration as well.

I truly did love it, I was so captivated by the story and I loved Raihns and Orayas relationship but I can't get over the betrayal. I am all for plot twists and betrayals, but not from the love interest. My heart broke with Orayas when Raihn betrayed her.
I just can't get over it. My love for the book went down when it happened and right now I don't even wanna read the second book because I can't see how their relationship can be fixed. They are not satisfying anymore. I loved their love and now I am just annoyed.
I will give the second book a chance in the future but right now I myself feel betrayed by the author.
Other than that, the book truly and wholeheartedly is amazing.

I devoured this and can’t wait to read the next. I usually like more sexy time but you really just get banter till 300+ pages when finally!! But I found the plot was so crazy I wasn’t missing out.
