It’s an eye opening book.

I’m just not into the writing style.

Absolutely phenomenal. I've read many of Jason Reynolds' books and loved every one of them; this is my first book by Brendan Kiely. I really loved this collaboration.

Can you say important? That's how I'd describe this book. It was first on my radar when I went to the library in search of "a book recommended by a librarian," but I was reminded of it as it was recommended again during the library's monthly challenge and I'm kind of kicking myself for not having started it sooner.

Easy read. Definitely a YA novel. Like the "The Hate U Give", but probably not as good.

Really important topics, but felt a little slow and didn’t enjoy Quinn’s perspective.

This book is so important!! Holy shoot. This book was so good. Totally believable and such an important book to read, especially with all the craziness going on in America right now. Jeez. And the alternating narrators and voice actors were perfect. Well done, friends. Well done.
