I will put this up front, I did LISTEN to this book on Audible. I will say, I did not appreciate the narrator that reads it. I know that's a personal thing but I say that to say, if you're considering doing Audio Book, take a minute and listen to the sample, I wish I had. I think I would have preferred just reading this book.
That being said, I truly appreciate the contents of this book. As someone who has also experienced a non-physically abusive relationship it was eerie but validating listening to someone having gone through almost the exact same situations as me. I also really appreciate the manner in which she chose to write it, flashbacks of incidents, the good mixed with the bad and never entirely sure which memory was going to end in which manner.
