Honestly I liked the first one better, I think the author executed this really well with how stuff turned out. I'm not super desperate to read the next one but I'll definitely add it to my tbr and get round to it at some point. 3 stars!

I received this ARC in return of my review solely based on my own opinions.
Book 2 picked up right where one left off. Bailey yielded to her old Alpha in order to save her one true love and mate Derrick. I loved every minute of this novel. It really capture the essence of what a true alpha should be (derricks POV) and how hard it is to be a female within the Yosemite(baileys POV). A lot of growth happen with both characters but especially Baileys.
This book has everything: action, steam, love, heartache, betrayal and a whole lot of woman strength.
Highly recommend if you like a deep emotional novel with just
enough steam to make you want more.

I’m obsessed with this series so far. This book took me quite a while to finish BUT it has nothing to do with the quality or speed of the book. I am a PA student so it just takes me a while to finish books these days!
We start right where the cliff hanger of book 1 left off. Stuck in a horrible pack trying to dismantle it to save all those who’ve been oppressed for years. It’s a difficult feat and one that takes a lot of hard work. Are they able to make it happen though?
If you enjoyed the first book in this series you will absolutely love this one. The characters develop much more. And we get to see all these trials that split the two mates apart.
