Another Amazing Love Story

This series is just amazing for all the feels you get. Ben and Anna are just adorable together. I love the crossover mentions to previous relationships with Theo & Maddie as well as Nik & Carlos.

Can't wait for a book 7.

Another entertaining story in what I believe is the last in this series. It's a standalone but if you've read them in order you'll recognize characters overlap. This one had a lot more depth in that the author tackled mental health issues in both men and women. Her stories are fun yet insightful and she covers topics the Black community don't readily want to discuss. I thoroughly enjoy her books and I look forward to whatever she has coming next.

DNF @ 61%.

I'm usually such a sucker for these plots but this one is just so boring? Guillory has always been overhyped but still enjoyable. Idk what's missing with this one but I'm not invested in anything.

Grabbed this one when it was on-sale at Target because the cover was fun & synopsis sounded cute. Powered through hoping it would get more enjoyable, but I really could not get into this book. The dialogue was so stiff and clumsy. Every interaction felt forced, limiting the characters depth and relatability. I don’t mind a predictable romance novel, but I didn’t feel like their love story naturally blossomed or that the plot line even flowed well.

Appreciated a MC male in therapy working on himself throughout the book, and the romantic scenes were steamy (but again, the timing of them occurring and feeling realistic?? Not there.) 1.5 stars since I did finish, and held out hope of it improving.

I didn’t like this one nearly as much as the other books in this series. Bummed!
