Wow...this book was even better than the first one! The first story was kind of an enchanting introduction into the world and Afterlights of Everlost. There was danger and monsters, but it had an almost fairy-tale feel to it as Nick and Allie learn about their new surroundings.

This book was MUCH darker and gets into the nitty-gritty of Everlost. Mary has clearly lost her damn mind, and Nick is losing his grip on his identity. Allie is searching to fill a void within her, and Mikey is just trying to find himself.

I loved this book, even more than the first one. I just purchased the third book on Audible and plan to start it right away while I power wash the driveway. I have no idea why I waited so long to read this series!

I really enjoyed this series by Neal Shusterman. There's so many interesting details that really make the story pop. Everwild didn't suffer from middle book syndrome at all. It was its own story and journey that really added to the character development.

Overall I really recommend this to anyone who likes dark YA fantasy.

This is turning out to be a great series. I thought the first book was good, but this one is even better. It gets a bit darker in this one, but the delivery is excellent. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I love Neal Shusterman. This Trilogy hasn't grabbed me the way his other books have. In fact the only reason I am going to read the last book is because I already read the first two.

The story is ok but I am bored with the characters. I really hope the story picks up.

Second-book-in-trilogy-is-the-worst curse doesn't apply to Neal Shusterman.
Love love love this sequel.
This world is just super fun. I love how he doesn't keep you hanging and guessing about how the Skinjacker world works.
Super surprised at revelations I never expected!

Spoiler... like a skinjacker is actually someone in a coma and can still be alive, (probably) if they skinjack their own bodies!
