Easy Beauty is thoughtful, poignant, and admirably honest. Jones wonderfully captures and articulates how complex and simple matters exist simultaneously, not to be parsed apart but to be looked upon together.

A really beautifully written memoir about beauty, disability, and self-discovery. I loved the way this was written and felt truly impacted by some of Jones’s observational writing, specifically about her disability and the way she’s treated in society and the world at large because of it. This book moved me.

I would love to meet her mother and all the people that see her and bring her joy.

This book has a really dark tone throughout the whole thing. Some of the content was too graphic for me, or I would have kept reading.
Graphic: Child death, Violence, Gore, Murder, Child abuse, Car accident, Racism, Genocide, Ableism, Body horror, Death, Body shaming, and Animal death
