This was good! I guessed where it was going early on and that took away some of the fun, but I enjoyed the ride nonetheless

Even though I’ve read this one several times years ago, I still couldn’t get through this audio fast enough. Eve kicked ass, again! One of the best series and best audios. The narrator rocks!

Technology as a weapon - very inventive premise. The team has to prove a conspiracy and take down the complex network. The team works out of Dallas's home office with food. McNab takes a stunner blast & is partially paralyzed.

I guess everyone knows how much I fell in love with this series. It’s so much fun following the next case and discovering more about Eve and Roarke wedding. But this book caught me real bad and left me reading way into the night.
It’s really interesting how much I have listening to an audiobook and talking back, like no you didn’t and Eve never disappoints, but the best part was the drama and how much these guys look like a family. Eve never had a real family, but she discovered a really eclectic one with people that love her and would do anything to stop a crime.
I liked the investigation and following McNabb while he fought his demons was so emotional. Plus we got to see a few people from older crimes and a few of them were a very important part of this. I really liked Roarke teaching the kid and he showed some great potential for fatherhood. Can’t wait for them to have a kid!

As always Eve and her team are kick ass. I love all of the group she's pulled together as her core. And this time around one of her own has his foundation shaken as he's forced to pull his weapon on a subject to save himself and the woman he was attacking. Of course in typical fashion everything is not as it seems and this starts Eve down the path with a crazy series of murders, ones no one was expecting.
This was a creepy technology murder. I love that you can get away with it as this is a sci-fi series. It was unexpected, but a really cool plot for Eve and Roarke to work towards figuring out. McNabb and Feeney getting caught in the crossfire just added tension for everyone. This really pushed McNabb and Peabody closer as well as their relationship is growing.
Loved this story. There was a little less suspense tension this time around as Eve was less in the crosshairs and more of the stalker. She was going to figure this group out and nail them to the wall.

While I routinely give these books five stars, this one was so good! I loved all the character dynamics and the mystery. This one was top notch!
