I read this as a high school assignment back when people didn't understand they needed to offer a trigger warning. While the book does validate trauma, I think happy endings are too unrealistic on this topic.

After a strong beginning, I found myself liking this book less and less as I continued through it. It felt more like an "issue" book than a story about a girl.

Very good book. It is one I will recommend for sure.

I was really disappointed in this book. It had such good reviews but I really didn't enjoy it! It rushes through a year of the character's life really quickly without actually developing a real plot. The ending is especially poor and the book ends very abruptly - not cool!
