this was cute and i liked the writing style! i just don’t think fairies are my thing when it comes to fantasy genres and the plot was pretty much all about that.

This was a pretty fun and easy read. The romance didn't feel all that believable since it happened so early on in the book, and so I wasn't completely convinced by their everlasting and undying love for eachother. The conclusion wasn't very satisfying, and felt anticlimactic, like, that's it?? Ultimately, it felt pretty rushed but I still think the author did a solid job with the worldbuilding and some of the characters-would love to see more of Gadfly.

This was the next wheel of books choice for me to read, and I was really excited to get into it. I do love a standalone romantasy vibe to get through nice and quickly and not have to commit to a series. I liked the world building and the characters in this story, and for a book that was only 300 pages there were events and situations that I definitely didn’t see coming. I liked how the relationship changed, it did flip quite quickly in the end but the way they worked together to do what they wanted and be together I really liked.
