Hmmm.. I just finished this and I am not 100% sure how I feel. I didn't enjoy the process of reading the book but I was interested in figuring out what exactly was going on. I don't feel satisfied by the ending. I'm a little sad. I wanted to like this. But I just didn't feel any connection and for most of it..I didn't care. On paper I liked some of the things that happened but I just didn't connect. I dunno. Nothing wrong with the book itself, I can easily see people enjoying this more than I did.

True page turner. On the edge trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Thought I was the crazy one for a minute.

After reading this I am a die hard fan of Tananarive Due. Will read ANYTHING she writes.

I went into this book without knowing much about it. I heard a brief mentioning of it in a video I watched and randomly placed a hold on it at my library. I didn’t realize that I’d be in for a very realistic idea of what mental health looks like. I found myself not wanting to put this book down at all and I eventually picked up the audiobook which made the book 1000x more eerie. I’d recommend going into this book like I did, no knowledge of what’s to come. I still don’t even understand how the book ended and I like that. I like it a lot. I will be reading more from Tananarive and I can’t wait.
